         HB 1001    (Deferred from 11th LD) establish certain presumptions concerning real property sales used to value property.
         HB 1084*#    revise the circumstances for when special elections for home rule charters shall be called.
         HB 1049*#    revise certain provisions regarding the permitting and the regulation of shooting preserves and to declare an emergency.
         HB 1105*#    revise the definition of domestic abuse.
         HB 1100 #    exempt swine and cattle semen from sales and use tax.
         HB 1093 #    allow certain nonpublic school students to participate in interscholastic activities at other nonpublic schools.
         HB 1101*    except contracts of independent contractors who are captive insurance agents from the prohibition against contracts in restraint of trade.
         HB 1104    limit the damages that may be awarded in a medical malpractice action against a podiatrist.

         SC 7    (SJ p. 216) Commending and honoring the 2003-2004 Outstanding School Administrators of South Dakota: Mark Froke, Vermillion, School Superintendents Association; Janet Karel, McCook Central/Salem, Business Officials Association; Betty Ann Bringman, Eagle Butte, Elementary School Principals Association; Dan Leikvold, Spearfish, Secondary School Principals Association; Suzanne Hegg, Sioux Valley/Volga, Secondary/Middle School Principals Association; Peggy Blair, Aberdeen, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development; and Dean Lindstrom, SE Area Coop-Beresford, South Dakota Council of Administrators of Special Education for being named outstanding administrators by their respective administrator parent groups.
