COMMEMORATIONS


     HC 1007   Introduced by:  Representative Deadrick

         A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION,  Honoring Darrell Mueller as a 2004 Milken Educator.

     WHEREAS,  Darrell Mueller, principal of the Platte Elementary, Cedar Grove Colony, and Platte Colony schools, was chosen as a 2004 Milken Educator; and

     WHEREAS,  he has dedicated more than sixteen years to the teaching profession; and

     WHEREAS,  he is dedicated to improving student learning environments and increasing student competency; and

     WHEREAS,  he strives to inspire and motivate students and colleagues to continue to learn, to better themselves, and to embrace change; and

     WHEREAS,  he has become a regionally and nationally respected administrator through his dedication to education and education improvement:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED,  by the Eightieth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that Darrell Mueller be congratulated upon his selection as a 2004 Milken Educator.
