         HB 1097     authorize the use of special elections to fill vacancies in the office of the mayor and on the governing boards of certain municipalities.
             Representatives Hanks, Haverly, Hennies, and McCoy and Senators Adelstein, Gray, and Napoli

         HB 1099     revise certain provisions relating to the publications and distribution of school district, municipal, and county minutes.
             Representatives Wick, Halverson, Hennies, Hunt, McLaughlin, Murschel, Rave, Roberts, Thompson, and Tornow and Senators Kelly, Abdallah, Broderick, Duniphan, Gant, Knudson, and Napoli

         SB 44     revise certain provisions relating to the collection of debt and fees by the Bureau of Administration.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Bureau of Administration

         SB 62     authorize the South Dakota Science and Technology Authority to invest funds with the State Investment Council.
             The Committee on State Affairs at the request of the Department of Tourism and State Development

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
