         SECOND READING OF SENATE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS

         SB 40    (Deferred for 6th LD) establish minimum fire safety standards for specialty resorts.



         SB 46    (Deferred from 6th LD) modify the requirements for closed block individual health benefit plans.
         SB 1*    revise the method used to determine the capacity of land to produce agricultural products.
         SB 42*    revise the areas where the Game, Fish and Parks Commission may require a park license.
         SB 45*    authorize the Bureau of Administration to donate the former Governor's residence for a public purpose and to declare an emergency.
         SB 52    revise certain provisions regarding the payment of burial expenses by life insurers and fraternal benefit societies.
         SB 61*    authorize the South Dakota Science and Technology Authority to use eminent domain for certain limited purposes.
